On the occasion of October 18 – State Independence Restoration Day, the Industry and Technology College at ASOIU held a model lesson, organized by history teacher Aynur Badalova.

The lesson was attended by Asaf Mammadov, Deputy Director for Educational Affairs of the college; Elnara Kazimova and Aynur Rzaguliyeva, chairs of the subject-association commissions; department heads Parvin Mammadova and Aynur Aghayeva; methodologist Aybaniz Gasimova; and history teachers Gulnara Abdulazimova, Faguma Farajova and Ilaha Huseynova.

The lesson began with the playing of the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Then history teacher Aynur Badalova gave a speech, stating that the aim of the lesson was to instill in students the historical significance of our state independence, to broaden their knowledge of national statehood traditions, and to educate them in the spirit of patriotism. She spoke about the historical roots of our independence, the services of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, President Ilham Aliyev's continuation of this political course, as well as the reconstruction work being carried out in Karabakh.

The model lesson contributed to strengthening students' sense of statehood and patriotic feelings.
