A training session organised by workshop manager Khatira Guliyeva was held at the jewellery workshop of the College of Industry and Technology under Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ASOIU).

The guest trainer was Eduard Shamaryayev, the college’s first graduate in jewellery making, who is currently a member of the Azerbaijan Jewellers Association and the founder of the “Irs” brand.

Eduard Shamaryayev provided first-year students with detailed insights into the intricacies, distinctive features and professional techniques of jewellery making, sharing his experience with them.

The training session, organised for students admitted this year to the Decorative and Applied Arts (Jewellery Making) programme, aimed to familiarise them more closely with their chosen craft, enhance their professional knowledge and inspire them in their future careers.
