First-Year Students Informed About Psychological Support Services

Gulnar Mastalizada, the College Psychologist, held educational meetings with first-year students in their classrooms. During the meetings, students were informed about the psychological support services available at the College, how to access these services, and the circumstances in which they could seek psychological support.

The impact of psychological well-being on the educational process, daily life, and interpersonal relationships was discussed. The importance of seeking timely support when facing challenges related to adapting to a new educational environment, emotional difficulties, anxiety, self-confidence, and communication was emphasised. It was also highlighted that seeking help from a psychologist reflects a responsible attitude towards one's own well-being and psychological health.

The meetings aimed to raise students' awareness of the psychological support services available at the College and to foster an environment of trust that would make it easier for them to seek support whenever needed.
