A meeting of the Methodological Council was held at the Industrial and Technology College under Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry (ASOIU), with the participation of Lala Nasibova, Head of the Academic Affairs Department; Kamala Aliyeva, Head of the Quality Assurance Department; department heads, teachers, and methodologists.

The main topic of discussion was the analytical review and improvement of academic programs. During the meeting, Lala Nasibova, Kamala Aliyeva, and methodologist Khalil Baghirov delivered presentations and shared their methodological recommendations and guidance on the development and updating of academic programs.

The meeting emphasized the importance of aligning academic programs with modern educational standards and labor market requirements, as well as ensuring that the changes made are clearly reflected in the knowledge and skills students are expected to acquire. The importance of adhering to academic integrity standards in the documentation process was also highlighted. It was noted that the curriculum package must include the decision of the Subject Commission (Department), internal and external reviews, and an anti-plagiarism report.

Instructions were also given regarding the provision of textbooks and electronic resources for students, maintaining interdisciplinary connections, improving the content of independent assignments, and ensuring the effective organization of practical classes.

At the conclusion of the meeting, questions raised by the teaching staff were answered, and relevant recommendations were provided to teachers on ways to increase student motivation throughout the educational process.
