Gulnar Mastalizada, the College psychologist, is conducting educational meetings with the teaching staff. The main purpose of these meetings is to strengthen cooperation between teachers and the psychologist and to promote psychologically appropriate approaches to teacher–student relationships.
The meetings focus on taking students’ individual and emotional characteristics into account, understanding the underlying causes of behavioral difficulties, and fostering communication based on mutual respect.
The importance of referring students to the psychologist in cases of persistent emotional distress, social withdrawal, noticeable behavioral changes, recurring conflicts, and difficulties adapting to the educational environment is also explained.
This work encompasses key functions of the psychological support service, including the early identification of difficulties, prevention, and professional support for the educational process.
Cooperation between teachers and the psychologist contributes to protecting students’ psychological well-being and strengthening a healthy educational environment.
