On September 10, 2026, the final stage of the Innovation Competition titled "SmarTech-1: For a Green and Smart Future" was held at the Sumgayit State Technical Vocational College. Our students actively participated in the competition under the leadership of A. Mammadov, Deputy Director for Educational Work of the College, G. Shukurova, Curator of the ECO START-UP Club and Head of the Biology Laboratory, and S. Bayramova, Chair of the Natural Sciences Department Commission.

In the final stage of the competition, which featured more than 60 teams, our College was worthily represented by three teams named "Aqua", "izz", and "Azedev". The teams demonstrated their ideas and creative approach by presenting the innovative projects they had prepared. Our students' projects were received with great interest by the jury and participants. During the presentations, representatives from various universities put forward proposals regarding the future development of the projects and potential collaboration, showing that our students' ideas were highly appreciated.

Such innovation competitions significantly contribute to the formation of modern thinking styles, creativity, entrepreneurship, teamwork, and professional project presentation skills among students. At the same time, it creates an important platform for discovering new ideas in the direction of a "green and smart future".
